Q: What areas do you cover?

BMTaxi serves Durham City and area, however we can get you from or to this area from anywhere in UK.

Q: Are your prices per car or per person?

We charge per vehicle, we will only add a little bit to the set fare price if there will be more pick up or drop off points.

Q: How much luggage can I take?

Amount of luggage depends of chosen vehicle size if in doubt ask us we will recommend you suitable size. 

Q: How do I know my booking has been accepted?

You can see your bookings when you login to your account through our app or website, At the end of booking proccess there is always information displayed about your booking.

Q: What if I cannot locate my driver?

In some areas there is no mobile area network(for example North Bailey in Durham City) so driver can disappear from the map if you have any doubts you can always give us a call, we will be happy to assist you.

Q: What if I wish to cancel and want a refund?

There is no problem to cancel your journey in advance and getting refund however you must meet cancellation time criteria for certain type of journey. 

For example Airport transfers as on July 2020 it is minimum 12hours advance notice to get a refund of journey.

For travels over 4 miles as on July 2020 it is minimum 3 hours advance notice to get a refund of journey.

 

For travels up to 4 miles as on July 2020 it is minimum 1 hours advance notice to get a refund of journey.

Q: Will I be charged extra if my flight is delayed?

We will not charge you extra if you notify BMTaxi at least one hour before Airport pick up( in case of Newcastle International Airport ) booked time as usually after that taxi will be on the way to the airport. We usually try to monitor airport website however it is not always providing up to date information.

In case of other Airports we must know about delay at least 1hour before estimated journey from Durham to the chosen airport

for example Liverpool John Lennon Airport estimated journey time from Durham is 3hours so we need to know (3hours+1=)4 hours before pick up time about flight delay.

Q: What if I miss my flight?

If you miss a flight and we know about it at least 2hours before pickup time we will compensate 75% of the price and give you 5% off the reschedule price.

Q: What does the price include?

Quoted price by our website includes journey for selected number of people in chosen type of vehicle or spacier (with no extra charge) at selected time from chosen place to chosen place with chosen via points if there are any changes to the journey we reserve the right to change the price or  to cover only part of the journey matching orginal order if that will not contradict with our further orders. In this case we reserve the right to charge as minimum orginal price. You must request the changes before the journey starts and notify the office on 07733747699 or if driven by dispatcher on duty you can make them in the car. Please insist on driver to mark in the system start and end of the journey so the office can have full tracking on your trip.

Q: How early do I need to book?

First comes first served! 

Sooner you book the better it is. <ost often we will be able to provide taxis straight away.

We aim to provide as many taxis as possible however not always we can have as many cars you need so for safety book as soon as need arises.
